ALTABAX causes no known hypersensitivity reactions with virtually no systemic side effects. The most common adverse events reported in ≥1% of pediatric patients aged 9 months to 17 years were application site pruritis, diarrhea, nasopharyngitis, pruritis, eczema, headache, and pyrexia.
With 5-day b.i.d. dosing, ALTABAX is a generally well tolerated, convenient, and effective option for adults and pediatric patients as young as 9 months old.
